Each and every member of our hardworking team take the utmost care to understand our customers' stories, devoting great passion and attention to detail to tailor a design unique to their needs.
Our dedicated florists put in 110% every day, getting up early, hand-selecting the highest quality blooms from local growers at the markets three times a week, consistently striving for unmatched service and carefully arranging and wrapping your bouquet with love.
We find the greatest joy in bringing people together through the magic of florals.
Kelly Thomas
Some could say Kelly’s love affair with florals began at the tender age of 15 when she took her first job at a Melbourne florist. But truthfully, she was destined to work among this country’s offerings - it’s in her blood.
A proud and culturally active Wurundjeri woman, Kelly’s connection to Country and mother nature’s gifts runs deep. Her ancestors were sustainable hero gardeners and farmers, hailing from Coranderrk land, and they’ve passed down to her their profound respect and admiration for all that this land offers.
While her adoration for flowers took her overseas to learn the art of floristry from masters in Germany, Paris and London, this deep connection to Country inevitably beckoned her home, where she opened The Floral Decorator in Sydney.
Kelly’s personal mythology drives the pragmatic aspects of developing and delivering a fabulous floral arrangement. Her vivid works of living art manifest in three dimensions, with her metaphysical presence embedded in all her creations. The work is infused with her spirit, and Kelly aesthetically communicates this through her floristry wherever it is displayed.
She works harmoniously with nature, composing her arrangements with seasonal varieties rather than simply following the current trend. Her innate gift allows her to naturally see colour, texture and varietal combinations that others may not consider.
This is what makes our work truly special. Our compositions are guided by the land’s seasonal offerings, pairing them with commercial flowers to create distinctive arrangements that are entirely unique.
